At the first international competition in the hand of the Corean world record holder Jong Oh JIN at the World Cup Final in Wuxi/China, the LP 10 E not only fulfilled our expectations.
We knew, the LP 10 E with its electronic trigger would shoot neatly and precisely; we knew we could rely on it. But we did NOT know, that it would provide us with the gold medal of the men's air pistol competition!
Getting 591 rings in the qualification and exactly 100,0 rings in the final, the LP 10 E with electronic trigger achieved a total of 691 rings and its first (but definitely not last) international gold medal!
The shooter himself looks quite content with his sporting device... Congratulations to him!

It was more than exciting - but then it was not. In the final of the air pistol contest for women, no one asked whether STEYR would gain a medal or how many we would gain - the only question was, who of our female shooters would be the first three!
All three medals - gold, silver, bronze - were won by STEYR-ladies!
Gold went to the "shooting star" of the last months, Wenjun GUO, the young Chinese, who did not only take advantage of the fact, that she shot "at home", she also won the latest two World Cups in Munich and Milan. With 492,3 rings she also made a new Final Olympic Record! Natalja PADERINA, long-time STEYR shooter and friend of us, shot herself to silver and - with 391 rings in the qualification - to a new Olympic Record, her second big success after gaining the gold medal at the IWK in Munich. Bronze was won by Nino SALUKVADZE from Georgia, she is also shooting STEYR pistols for years already, at the IWK in Munich she finished second, gaining the silver medal.
What is most remarkable:
All eight finalists shot with STEYR-technology!
Every single of these world-best female shooters used an air pistol made at STEYR Sportwaffen to come that far!
As for the men:
Gold and silver at the air pistol men's event go to STEYR!
Wei PANG from China gained the most beautiful noble metal, high up there on the podium, just a bit behind Jong Oh JIN from Corea - another highly contented STEYR-shooter!
STEYR most obviously is a class of its own!

Our powerful air rifle, the LG 110 HP cal. 5.0, presented at the IWA in Nuremberg in March, is also available from now on.
The advantages of this version to complete the High-Power-Range are the higher power compared to the HP 4.5 mm, although showing a lower trajectory and a high capacity of shots than the HP 5.5 mm.
In order to deal individually with any kind of pellets, the new velocity screw can now easily be adjusted from the outside with the bolt delivered with the rifle - see picture.
Also former LG 110 FT can be refitted with this screw.
